Lola Gold's Handmade/One of A kind Pendulums

Hello everyone, my name is Lola and I was so pleased to be asked to make a range of pendulums for you all. I asked what sort of things to make and was told to make and create whatever my heart desired...."oh wow" I thought. What an opportunity!

Well nearly all of these pendulums are completely hand made, the chains included.

They are as unique and individual as the people who buy them.

I hope you'll  please understand that the chains will not be perfect and smooth like manufactured product and in some cases it is a deliberate roughness created for a more rustic look as I've been asked for this many times. I am so pleasantly amazed how much people love the rustic look and feel and how much they appreciate that each item I make is a one of a kind and will never be copied. So when you buy one of my pendulums you can be assured that it is unique and made with total and absolute love and care.

They all come in a very pretty long purple gift box.

I am hope to make a range of pendulums in the very near future that will also be able to be worn as jewellery.

Here is a very unusual pendulum, with dyed freshwater pearls decorating the spiral pendulum. The colours of the pearls are a beautiful  irridescent petrol and look magnificent against the warm copper spiral. The bob has three beautiful pearls crowning it making this a truly unusual and unique pendulum, a luxurious gift for a loved one

Pearls have been known for their healing properties for centuries, particularly in traditional Asian medical systems. In these cultures, “medicine” deals with more than just physical ailments and cures, and substances like gold, silver and pearl powder are believed to have effects both physically and metaphysically.

Modern science has not discovered anything magical about pearls, but this does nothing to diminish their stature in people’s eyes. Pearls are said to give the wearer a sense of calmness and centeredness, and to promote faith, loyalty, truth and purity. They can especially enhance personal integrity. They have also been used in a number of cultures to help women connect with their “inner goddesses” and obtain the ultimate “feminine energy.”

A delightful clear quartz pendulum with gorgeous labradorite  and green garnet flat oval beads. The bob incorporates a magical gemmy labradorite bead. The copper wire is completely hand worked.

The clear quartz measures 4cm.

The whole pendulum measures 28cm.

According to an Eskimo legend, the Northern Lights were once imprisoned in the rocks along the coast of Labrador.  It is told that a wandering Eskimo warrior found them and was able to free most of the lights with a mighty blow of his spear. Some of the lights were still trapped within the stone, and thus we have today the beautiful mineral known as labradorite.

Noah, it is reported, used a lantern fron Garnet in order to safely steer his Ark through the darkness of the night. Garnets are found in jewellery from ancient Egyptian, Greek and Roman ers. Many courageous discoverers and travellers wore garnets for protection, as they were considered popular talismans and protective stones, because it was believed in those days that garnets illuminate the night and prevent the wearer from any sort of evil. Today science explained to us that the proverbial luminosity of garnet is caused by its high refraction of light, but the magic of the original lore is much more interesting!

The copper spiral is most beautifully wire wrapped with turquoise and imperial jasper beads, making it look most magical. The chain is a fairly simple affair of turquoise and jasper beads made so as not to detract from the enchanting bedecked spiral. The bob is an Imperial Jasper bead with Turquoise beads on either side.

Metaphysical properties of Imperial Jasper - Jasper and most particularly Imperial Jasper has it's strongest tradition in Judaic lore, where it is one of the twelve sacred stones used to denote the Imperial families or tribes of Israel. It is said to occupy a position on the High Priest's breastplate and is the first foundation stone walls of the heavenly city. It also therefore symbolises the first of the twelve gateways into heaven.

A unique and wonderful pendulum, solid copper construction and absolutely gorgeous Lapis beads. The blue of the bead and the colour of the copper are wonderful together, I don't think I have ever seen this combination anywhere else.

The pendulum itself measures 3.8 cm and is a lighter colour than the beads.

Lapis Lazuli is a deep blue crystal flecked with white and gold. It is a highly prized gemstone.

Lapis Lazuli is thought to stimulate the higher levels of the mind encouraging clarity and objectivity. It is also believed to allow the release of stress bringing deep inner peace.

Lapis Lazuli is said to facilitate self-knowledge and self-expression and, when used in meditation, to enhance psychic ability and spiritual insight.

This beautiful copper spiral dreamweaver pendulum is decorated with clear quartz and gorgeous clear gemmy citrine beads. The bob has an integrated oblong clear quartz bead crowning it. A truly delicious pendulum!

Beautiful Sodalite pendulum with Imperial Jasper beads. Totally handmade solid copper construction.

Pendulum measures 23 cm.
